An Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Report (formerly a blue slip) ensures that an unregistered vehicle is safe and meets identity and design standards. Before you register a light vehicle, you must ensure it qualifies for an Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Report. Then you can move ahead with registering your vehicle.
An eSafety inspection report (previously a pink slip) affirms that your vehicle is safe and can be legally driven on NSW roads. If you own a light vehicle that is more than 5 years old, it will require an eSafety check before you can register it. Your renewal papers will state whether it needs an inspection or not. If your vehicle passes the check, we will send the report to Roads and Maritime Services. If it fails, you’ll be issued with a report of what repairs are needed to pass, and if you can organise the repairs within 14 days and bring the vehicle back to us, the second check is free!
The friendly team at Morisset Auto Mechanics are able to organise Roadworthy Certificates for cars and light commercial vehicles. In NSW, a Blue Slip and a Pink Slip are the only two coloured slips you need when it comes to roadworthiness.
At Morisset Auto Mechanics, we are the experts when it comes to conducting vehicle inspections and organising Blue Slips and Pink Slips. We will perform checks on key components of your vehicle including: steering, suspensions and braking systems, wheels and tyres, seats and seat belts, lights and reflectors, windscreen, windows including front wipers and washers, vehicle structure as well as many other safety related items on the body, chassis or engine.
Morrisset Auto Mechanics is an Authorised Inspection Station (AIS) and Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Station (AUVIS), allowing us to provide these inspections and notify the relevant regulatory body once your vehicle passes!
